Phil Strickland, professionally known as Anaamaly (pronounced “anomaly”) is an internationally known electronic musician and composer. His musical focus ranges from peaceful new age soundscapes and laid-back chill-out instrumentals, to upbeat feel-good Electronica and Hip-hop. Anaamaly first discovered his passion for beat making on drum machines and samplers in the late 90’s. He has since shifted toward software based production with the use of percussion instruments such as the mbira and hang drum.


Anaamaly is finishing a Master Certification in Music Production and Technology at Berklee Online, with a focus on music supervision, licensing, and composition for film and TV. His single, "Good Morning", received praise from music industry professionals as being catchy, feel good electronica, was featured on the 6th volume of the highly anticipated Goa Chillout Zone (GCZ) compilation CD released by WOA Records. He is currently working on new music for 2 major international compilation CDs. After striking a 50-song deal with an Asian based music streaming service in early 2014, his music can be heard streaming in hotels, cafes, retail shopping outlets, and restaurants all over the world. Anaamaly's debut CD, titled Urban Metta, Vol 1., quickly gained traction in the Middle East, as well as in the New Age community and continues to earn love and support from fans around the globe
