"Singing has always been a passion of mine but living in South Wales there has always been a shortage of opportunity and somewhat a negative stigma attached to being different and career that I could have only wished for. However I realised the uniqueness of my vocal and quickly achieved the following titles :
  • Welsh Factor Winner 2010
  • Fame factor runner up 2011
  • Final 18 boys in X factor 2011-Bootcamp
  • Open Mic UK Runner up 2012

I went on to appear on the 2012 X Factor as a Maths Teacher, where I made it through to the last 12 boys. My audition was featured heavily and my rendition of Cannonball by Damien Rice received a huge response from both judges and audience. I am widely credited as the reason that this song was picked as the “Winners Single” and my performance also launched Rice’s version to #9, making chart history as the first time a song has re-entered at a higher position than it’s original release.

Being on the show kicked started my career and meeting all my fans really hit home how much I wanted to sing full time. Comments such as “you are truly an inspiration to me” and “never give up” has echoed through my mind and has inspired me to pursue. I really cant thank you enough for all your support!  After “Cannonball” rose into the top 10 it made me wonder how successful my original music could be…"
