Jonah Delso

In the summer of 2008, Delso was handpicked by the members of Coldplay to open for the sold out Wachovia Center show of their “Viva La Vida” world tour. Since then, he has established himself as a very active musician in the Philadelphia area. He plays bass in the local fractured-pop specialists Goodnight Lights, and also for the indie-pop rockers The Turn. After opening for Coldplay at the Wachovia Center in 2008 as a solo act, it's been a long two years Philadelphia has waited for his first solo release.

Jonah provided the original demo recordings of his early adolescent music as the featured score in the full-length movie Exit 117. Because some of the recordings were made so long ago, he sought to create a clearer representation of the music for people to hear. His album Songs From A Movie features newly recorded versions of the songs featured in the film. It not only acts as a compliment to the movie, but also as his first solo album.

Jonah's influences include Neil Young, Wilco, My Morning Jacket, Vedder, Cat Stevens and Pavement
