Born & raised on an Island steeped in musical Heritage Spike Oatley is a Singer Songwriter that is very much a product of his environment. Much like his native Isle of Wight just off of the south coast of England his songs are a place to go to, a sanctuary or simply an old friend.
He has proven to be a tireless practitioner of his craft over the years with endless gigging, busking, prolific song writing & time in the studio.
Involved with various creative educational projects in Schools across England Spike has worked with pupils of all ages to write, record & discover the craft of songwriting and music.
Spike has enjoyed having air play on various Radio stations including the BBC & has performed live as an invited guest on both Phil Jackson's BBC South Introducing Show & BBC Radio Solent's Sally Taylor Show.
In 2011 a track written by Spike called 'Ray Of Light' was used as the official Natwest Island Games Anthem.
With his former band in 2013 he won a slot at the Green Man Festival via an international online voting poll & a live final, he went on to support The Magic Numbers on their Acoustic Tour that same year.

BCP is proud to have placed dozens of artists in hundreds of TV shows throughout Germany, Austria and Switzerland!
