Ed Thomas has been a lead/rhythm/guitarist/singer/songwriter in the music biz for many years. His song “Two Tire Fire” , a Dylan-esque social commentary folk song, has just been signed by Black Cloud Productions.

He started when he was 10 years old mastering classics like Wipeout and Sunshine of Your Love but not really studying music until he was thirteen. He has worked on several projects over the years primarily cutting his teeth in a three piece power trio T Minus 1.They played covers and some originals in biker bars together for over ten years because  “Biker bars paid us the best, they never stiffed us, but more importantly, they would have us back without much ado”.

For the last few years he has been focusing on his songwriting, working closely with Zac Cataldo from Night Train Studios getting his songs ideas into tangible form. His style is topical/political (global warming), sometimes bluesy, but generally folk with a rocky edge along the lines of Dan Bern, John Lennon, Bob Dylan, and John Prine.

His Earth Day Song "Not My Job" got airplay on Rock 101 in Manchester NH, (Greg and the Morning Buzz). It was also at the top of several charts at indie music website Broadjam.com for over eight weeks.
