Hollik
Hollik writes heartfelt lyrics to help create catchy, inspiring songs. Hollik collaborates with various musicians and singers across the globe. One of Hollik's songs, “You’re Not Here”, was featured on the internet band Wild Blossoms’ Christmas album released in December 2012. Additionally, Hollik was awarded Runner Up placement in the lyrics category of the Song of the Year contest in August 2012 for “Don’t Disappear” and Semi-Finalist in December 2012 with “Take Cover”. Rececently Hollik's song "Introspective Pursuit" was one of four Lyric category Finalists in the Song of the Year Contest for April 2013.
When asked about musical influences, Hollik says there are too many to name, recalling listening very closely to the lyrics of every song heard and relating them to life, especially during adolescent years. Hollik believes great lyrics have a way of connecting people, whether it’s an emotional story similar to their own or just fun words to distract them from their problems. Hollik has a strong passion for songwriting and is eager to work with many more great artists to bring words to life.
